Abstract: 

THERE IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN A NEED FOR A SINGLE TEXT WHICH EXPLAINS SIMPLE EQUATIONS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN THE NATURAL GAS FLOW. IN THIS WORK, THREE TYPES OF PIPELINE ARRANGEMENTS INCLUDING SERIES, PARALLEL AND LOOPED PIPELINES WERE REVIEWED AND RELATED EQUATIONS WERE PRESENTED. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPARISON OF EACH METHOD WERE STUDIED THROUGH AN EXAMPLE AND THE RESULTS WERE INTERPRETED. THE EFFECTS OF LOOPED LINE ON THE INCREASE OF GAS FLOW RATE FOR VARIOUS PIPE DIAMETER RATIOS WERE ALSO INVESTIGATED. IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE BENEFIT OF LOOPING INCREASES EXPONENTIALLY WITH THE FRACTION OF LOOPING. A 10-INCH PIPELINE THAT IS 20 MILES LONG IS EXEMPLIFIED IN THE TEXT, AND IT WAS FOUND OUT THAT THE GAS CAPACITY EXPANSION FOR THIS PARTICULAR PIPELINE WOULD BE 20.36% FOR SERIES, 294.83% FOR PARALLEL AND 21.95% FOR A LOOPED COMBINATION, RESPECTIVELY.

Abstract: 

The lack of Quranic approaches in the production of Quran-based humanities is still felt, despite the predominance of the philosophical approach in critical approaches to modern humanities, which has become very common in the Islamic world and in Iran for several decades. It seems that the capacity of the method of thematic exegesis (al-Tafsīr al-mawdū'ī, Arabic: التفسیر الموضوعیّ) in this regard, can be used to bring the Holy Quran into the field of humanities. Thematic exegesis, according to whether its subject is inside or outside the Qur'an, has several functions in criticizing the structure of modern knowledge and scientific research, as well as the production of Islamic humanities. It is possible to make use of thematic exegesis of the inside of the Holy Book of Quran in order to “fundamental criticism” of the general fundamentals of humanities -the fundamentals of epistemology, axiology, ontology and anthropology- and it is also possible to use thematic exegesis for constructing and producing foundation of humanities obtained from the Holy Quran. It is used by thematic interpretation exegesis of the outside of the Holy Book of Quran -such as Shahīd (martyr) Sadr’s interrogational approach- to answer the problems of humanities and this process faces challenges such as the complexity and multiplicity of the “subject” of the humanities that exist in modern terminology of this field. It can be used in order to solve this issue in some cases to know the process of the change of the components of the modern of the conceptual history’s approach and also by analyzing the issue into several components can be shown that the components are not necessarily a product of the modern era and can be followed up in the Holy Quran and can be found up in the Holy Quran. The perspective of the Holy Quran, after that, regarding the modern subject in the desired field by the “combining” of the results obtained based on the thematic interpretation.

Abstract: 

Generation expansion planning (GEP) includes determining the optimal strategy to plan the construction of new generation plants while satisfying technical and economic constraints. Generation expansion planning (GEP) includes determining the optimal strategy to plan the construction of new generation plants while satisfying technical and economic constraints. The purpose of this study is to examine a multi-Objective power generation capacity expansion planning model for studying changes in production decisions and carbon dioxide contamination under uncertainty of power demand and supply. Uncertainty of demand and power generation capacity factor (supply uncertainty) were expressed as a fuzzy set, and a fuzzy multi-objective nonlinear model was used for a case study of Kerman power generation capacity expansion planning system for a 12-year period. The result of the study showed that in order to meet demand and to ensure the economic (minimizing production costs) and environmental (minimizing the costs of carbon dioxide pollution) objectives in the same time under the uncertainty of demand and generation capacity factor, the capacity of wind and water technology along with coal fuel should be respectively expanded by almost. However, as far as only economic goals are concerned, the plan will include the increase of coal fuel electricity production capacity. Furthermore, to meet environmental goal, capacity expansion of renewable wind, water and photovoltaic power technologies are respectively expected in the plan. The difference in results reveals the importance of integrated and comprehensive planning for the power generation capacity expansion planning.

Abstract: 

Importance of optimal use of water resources is one of the factors of necessity of restudying of existing water projects, particularly dams and power plants. Therefore, according to the expansion of the capacity of Gotvand power plant up to 1640 megawatts, maximizing its performance is the main driver of this research. One of the objectives of optimization model developed for optimum performance of Gotvand power plant is maximizing of the value of the produced energy using a proposed combined value. Also, another objective is minimizing of the difference between maximum and minimum hourly release from the Gotvand regulation dam. Based on the results of the optimization model, the optimal power plant performance capacity was proposed according to the combination of 4 units of 250 MW and 4 units of 160 MW (1640 MW in total). In order to determine installed capacity of the Gotvand regulation power plant, a simulation was done for 64 years, in an hourly time step, by considering the downstream conditions and reservoir limitations. The results showed that optimum installed capacity is 50 to 60 megawatts.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The aim of this research was to study the effects of different doses of LIF on GVBD and MII development rate and cumulus expansion.Materials and Methods: Immature mice superovulated with HMG and GV oocytes obtained from ovary 48 hours later. The GV oocytes were cultured in TCM199 with 100, 500 and 1000 IU /ml LIF. Cumulus expansions were evaluated with two examiners and numbers of MII oocytes were recorded. For denuding the oocytes hyaloronidase was used.Results: Our results showed that the rate of GVBD and MII development increased in groups with LIF compared with control group. Rate of MII development with 1000 IU/ml LIF was significantly higherthan that of control group (P<0.05). Cumulus expansion in group with 1000 IU/ml LIF improved significantly compared with control group (p<0.05).Conclusion: Our results showed that LIF could improve IVM rate in dose dependant. Also cumulus expansion improved in group with LIF and increased oocyte quality.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is to investigate the multi-period optimization model of capacity expansion planning in the electricity industry considering different scenarios of carbon dioxide emissions. In this study, using interperiod dynamic linear programming model, the capacity development of power plants has been designed and modeled in GAMS software. The objective function of the model has been to minimize the total discounted present value of investment cost, operation and maintenance cost, fuel cost and environmental cost in a 30-year horizon and with the constraints of supply and demand balance, power system security operation, the upper boundary of newly installed capacity, resource potential and grid stability. The proposed model was evaluated in different scenarios and sensitivity analysis. The results of the study showed that in the basic scenario without environmental considerations (reduction of production costs), only the capacity of fossil power plants should be expanded. Meanwhile, in the basic scenario with environmental considerations, the capacity of combined cycle, solar, atomic and wind power plants have been expanded by reducing production costs and environmental costs. Considering the environmental considerations, the generation share of steam and gas power plants in the planning horizon has decreased from 27.7 and 22.7 percent to 9.5 and 4 percent compared to the base year, but the generation share of combined cycle, nuclear, solar and wind power plants have increased from 41.8, 2.3, 0.1 and 0.1 percent to 72.7, 6.5, 2 and 2.3 percent. The investment cost (capacity expansion) of the basic scenario with environmental considerations compared to the basic scenario without environmental considerations will reach 183 billion dollars in the planning horizon with an increase of 60%, and the basic scenario with environmental considerations significantly increases the development costs. Also, in the scenario of the continuation of sanctions, when the maximum annual capacity of renewable power plants decreases, the environmental goals will not be met, and there is a need to invest in expanding the production capacity through fossil power plants. In the sensitivity analysis of the model, the results indicate that there is a need to invest in expanding the capacity of renewable power plants in the three cases of reducing the investment cost, increasing the carbon price, and fuel price.

Abstract: 

AbstractPurpose: The velocity of change in the surrounding world has forced them to identify those factors which impact their change capacity. The present study was conducted to identify and prioritize influential factors on organizational change capacity.Methodology: In terms of purpose, this was explorative and applied research. Its population included ten familiar experts with research subjects in a research and training center. By reviewing the literature on change capacity, relevant, influential factors were identified, and they were concurred by the fuzzy Delphi technique, and then they were ranked. After recognizing influential factors, a pair comparisons questionnaire was distributed among ten experts, and after gathering the questionnaires, effecting factors were ranked using the Expert Choice11 Software package and AHP technique.Findings: Results show that organizational culture, structure, and style of leadership were the main factors that impacted change capacity.Conclusion: The influential factors can be divided into three categories: environmental, content, and structural elements. Environmental factors include environment and innovation; content factors include team working, intellectual capital, leadership, political behavior, and human resource management; Structural elements include strategy, structure, organizational policies, information technology, knowledge management, and technology. Value: This is the first time in the literature that the influential variables affecting the change capacity were recognized and categorized in a conceptual classification that has not been seen in the previous research.

Abstract: 

Due to the high speed of relocation, air transportation has particular importance for the development of socio-economic systems of each region or country. The wide area of Iran in order to the geographical characteristics and economic growth speed has the high potential for the expansion of air transport. The main purpose of this paper is to the future study of Iran’s air travel demand and passenger terminals capacity. The paper has presented a method for developing the air passenger demand forecast model and the scenarios related to runway and passenger terminals capacity expansion. The approach meets the future demand from the point of view of system dynamics in the horizon of 2020. Although there are a number of studies in the air transport field based on the system dynamics, the researchers have not been conducted to investigate the demand for air travel and the development of passenger terminals capacity in Iran. Due to the developed model and study, the pessimistic and optimistic scenarios different sensitivity values have been compared within these three scenarios. Scenarios are designed based on capacity factors, the number of flights per day, the use of airport runways, and airline congestion. Using the different conditions of scenarios and predicting the conditions that may occur in the future for the country's airline industry, it is possible to test the overall behavior of the model. In order to verification and validation of the proposed method, Vensim system dynamics simulation have been used for model development and sensitivity analysis.
